Ticketing information

Entrance tickets are purchased online before your visit. In order to efficiently manage capacity, tickets are sold for a slot time. This means that you choose a day and time for your entrance during your visit. E.g. if you buy a ticket for the slot time at 10.00, you will be admitted between 10.00 and 10.30.

The exhibition is then expected to last 60-90 minutes.
The exhibition closes 1.5 hours after the last closing time.

Children (3-15 years) PLUS*: 225 kr

* The PLUS ticket category includes a Virtual Reality (VR) experience that takes you back to the time of the dinosaurs. Through VR goggles, you’ll be immersed in a virtual world where you’ll meet giant dinosaurs and explore their natural environments. Sound, motion and 3D effects create a realistic experience that takes you to a time otherwise only found in history books. It’s a memorable and engaging experience for any dinosaur enthusiast.

Children up to 2 years old enter free when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

* Closed on Midsummer’s Eve and Midsummer’s Day and August 13-15 & 19-21.

Yes, you will find no trouble visiting in either a wheelchair or with a stroller.

Can I photograph or film at Dino World?

Yes, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos inside the exhibition. However, tripods, selfie sticks and other accessories that may disturb other visitors are discouraged. Please remember to respect other visitors.

Can I buy a ticket on site?

Yes, you can buy a ticket on site. We recommend pre-purchasing tickets as we cannot guarantee that there are tickets available on site. Please note that we are a cashless exhibition/shop.

Is it possible to pay for the VR experience on site?

Yes, it is possible to pay on site for 50 SEK per person. Please note that we are a cashless exhibition/shop.

Can I change the day and time of my ticket?

Yes, you can change the day and time of a purchased ticket as long as it is done before the ticket’s validity period/timeslot/entry time.
